A "DUDE RANCH" For Your Dog!
Our exclusive "K-9 DUDE RANCH" boarding costs no more than others, however, the boarding experience at Von Asgard is like no other. We are a small, custom kennel boarding less than 45 dogs in a beautiful country setting. All of our kennels are "super-sized", not the typical 2 foot and 3 foot wide runs that one might expect.
"COWBOY" - OUR STANDARD HIGH-ACTIVITY LEVEL BOARDING PROGRAM:
FOR (SOME) SMALL DOGS AND THE MEDIUM & LARGE DOGS . . .
The standard "K-9 DUDE RANCH" boarding program is our unique 'COWBOY' high-activity service. In our 'COWBOY' boarding service for (some small), medium, and large dogs . . . each individual dog receives a 15 to 20 minute, free-running, supervised play session each day. The individual supervised play session is scheduled - depending on the weather - in the morning, afternoon, or in the evening. In addition to the one-on-one, free-running play session, each dog is taken out for three on-leash walks each day . . . not some puny 50 foot walk, but three varying walks - morning, afternoon, and evening. We limit the number of medium & large dogs that we board to approximately 35 dogs so that we can provide this unmatchable standard boarding service.
"COWBOY" STANDARD, HIGH ACTIVITY PROGRAM IS MODIFIED FOR SOME SMALL DOGS . . .
In most cases, for small dogs (dogs under 39 pounds) enjoying the standard high activity 'COWBOY' Dude Ranch program, the experience is modified to suit their unique requirements. First, approximately 10 small dogs are all that we board at one time. These small dogs enjoy special care. If kept indoors, each small dog is walked on-leash outside in our country setting every two hours throughout the day and evening . . . and then, each time, enjoys a "play session" in our indoor 14' x 14' small dog play room.
The on-leash walks through our country setting every two hours all day long with the accompanying, supervised 'play sessions' throughout the day and the "home-like" evening atmosphere . . . makes small dog "COWBOY" high activity boarding an experience second to none!
"COWBOY" - STANDARD HIGH ACTIVITY PROGRAM BOARDING FEES:
We stay a small, custom kennel so we can continue to provide our standard "COWBOY" high activity boarding program with its features unique to Von Asgard Kennel's "K-9 DUDE RANCH" boarding experience.
Our "COWBOY" standard "K-9 DUDE RANCH" High-Activity Boarding is very affordable. The fee for small dogs (under 39 pounds) is . . . a very competitive $20/night. The fee for medium dogs (40 pounds to 79 pounds) is . . . very friendly at $27/night. The fee for large dogs (80 pounds or more) is . . . very competitive at $34/night.

"TRAIL HAND" - LONGER TERM - HIGH-ACTIVITY BOARDING DISCOUNT FEES FOR SMALL, MEDIUM DOGS & LARGE DOGS:
If you are planning to board more than just a couple weeks, ask us about our high activity "TRAIL HAND" longer term stay discount program. Small dogs (39 pounds and less) are discounted to $15/night, medium dogs (40 pounds to 79 pounds) are discounted to $20/night, and large dogs (80 pounds or more) are discounted to $25/night . . . all three groupings receive our super high activity program as explained previously.

"GREENHORN" - OPTIONAL REDUCED ACTIVITY LEVEL BOARDING:
FOR SMALL, MEDIUM DOGS & LARGE DOGS
A "down-graded" boarding service is available at our "K-9 DUDE RANCH" . . . our "GREENHORN" reduced activity level boarding is provided for older, sedimentary, or disabled canine boarders!
When needed, you can choose our "GREENHORN" reduced activity level boarding. We eliminate the daily 20 minute, high activity, free-running, supervised outdoor play session of the "COWBOY" program for selected small dogs, and all medium and large dogs. For the other small indoor dogs (39 pounds or less) we eliminate the 15 minute, high activity, supervised indoor play sessions after each 15 minute on-leash walk from the standard high activity the 'COWBOY' program. The "GREENHORN" reduced activity level program is optional.
The reduced activity level "GREENHORN" boarding fees are: $15/night for small dogs (39 pounds or under) and $20/night for medium dogs (40 pounds to 79 pounds) and $25/night for large dogs (80 pounds or more).
"CITY SLICKER" - LONGER TERM - REDUCED ACTIVITY BOARDING DISCOUNT FEES FOR SMALL, MEDIUM & LARGE DOGS:
If you plan to board more than a couple weeks, ask us about our reduced activity 'City Slicker' longer term stay discount program. Small dogs (39 pounds and less) are discounted to $12/night, medium dogs (40 pounds to 79 pounds) are discounted to $15/night and large dogs (80 pounds or more) are discounted to $18/night . . . all three groups with our reduced activity program as explained previously.

BRING FOOD FOR YOUR DOG:
We believe, for your dog's dietary consistency, he should be fed the same food he receives at home. So, please, DO BRING the food that your wish your dog to be fed during his stay at Von Asgard K-9 Center.
MEDICATIONS:
We do, however, charge a minimal $2 fee per occurrence for administering medications and special supplements. Note, we do not charge per medication but per occurrence . . . that is, if three medications were administered once a day the charge would be only $2.
FEMALES IN "HEAT" CAN BE BOARDED:
If your female is in coming in "heat" or is in "standing heat" and is affecting male dogs in her proximity during her stay, Cobblestone Kennel will board her responsibly. However, we do add an additional $6/night to the daily boarding charge.
WE CAN BOARD DANGEROUS DOGS:
Because of our experience with police and military dogs, we do board dangerous & aggressive dogs that other kennels will not even consider. However, we do add an additional $6/night to the daily boarding charge. Cobblestone reserves the right to determine if a dog crosses the line from "difficult to handle" to downright "dangerous to handle".
PAYMENT:
At Von Asgard, we accept cash or your personal check.
"K-9 DUDE RANCH" BOARDING RESERVATIONS:
Just as you would when you check into a motel, we ask that you pay for your dog's boarding at check-in.
When you make a reservation, we will need you name. address, telephone and other pertinent information about your dog. We also require you set an appointment time to drop-off and an appointment time to pick-up your dog. Provided the appointment times are mutually agreeable, you can deliver or access your dog virtually 7 days a week, 24 hours a day . . . at no added cost.
